Anyone fly JetBlue?

Glad to see all the JetBlue lovers out there! I'm flying them for the first time this October and am a bit concerned, as their "on time" rate for the flight I'm taking is only 66% for June, and was only 66% for May. Anyone have problems with their timeliness?

They are the best airline out there right now. I liked Delta and then they became insane with price and comfort.

TV and Sirius during the flight really does make it go by quickly.

Count me in as a first timer! I booked us airfare with JetBlue and was nervous (we usually do Southwest) but you all have made me feel so much better. Can't wait for Sept!

Another JetBlue fan! First airline I've ever flown on, and I don't have any experience on others but flying JB has made me not afraid to fly anymore.

The only delays I've had with JB has been de-icing the plane, and when they moved to a different terminal in Orlando, the plane didn't hook up right with the walkway, so it took about 20 minutes to fix that.

Love their direct flights from Syracuse!! :cool1::cool1:

We also love JetBlue, but this time, when we booked, American was a LOT cheaper. I just looked at the flights now, and while American is significantly higher than it was when we booked, the JetBlue fares are comparable (~$65 more for similar times). We prefer to fly JetBlue if we can and the prices aren't much different. It was initially about $300 more, so we went with American.

We actually took JetBlue about a month after they first started, and have considered it our primary airline ever since. I just wish they flew to where the in-laws live.

We had trouble with them for our trip to Bermuda - the flight crew was stuck in Jacksonville so they had to find another crew at the last minute. Our flight was 2 hours late (at least we weren't waiting on the plane!). Two days later we each got an e-mail apologizing for "not getting the service we expect" from JetBlue, with a $25 credit. I've never so much as gotten an apology from an airline, much less a credit, for a delay!

I'm another JetBlue lover!

We love JetBlue and always fly them on our trips to Disney. We have found their flights to always be on time and the staff is always very helpful and friendly. The last time we flew them we had trouble with our luggage - we went home to Westchester Airport and our bags went to San Juan - but they had them delivered to our front door the next day.

My family always flies JetBlue. I love the TVs and the extra legroom. We currently have two future flights booked with them.

I fly nothing but JetBlue. Obviously I don't fly that often but when I do my motto is...If JetBlue doesn't go there...I don't need to go either!

Ahem! I would like to report a plagiarism. goofyernmost stole MY motto :lmao:

It's not even a matter of flying another airline, as some other posters seem to do in a pinch. I'm not even (too) price sensitive. I'll adjust my trip before I'll fly another airline.

Out of upstate NY we can fly southwest direct out of Albany (50 min away) or drive to either Burlington VT (2hrs) or Hartford CT (about 2.5 hrs). 2010 we took the VT option & loved it. This yr doing the Hartford route. I "stalked" the opening of airfares & got a great deal for the 6 of us making it worth the extra drive time. TVs for the kids huge bonus too.

love them, if southwest didnt have a better deal we would have been flying with them!

Flying JB for the first time this Sept. Does anybody know how much they charge for a second bag? Not anticipating needing one but might pack a extra bag for the trip home (souviniers)...and want to weigh extra bag fee vs. shipping something home. Thanks.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE JET BLUE!!!!:lovestruc Planes are nice, tv even better! Snacks good! We have never had an issue! Only one time the tv didn't work for DD and myself. We received a credit...

I've never been delayed with them, but they have changed my flight schedule twice for September since I booked in March. It's only been 15 minute differences, but it's enough to irk a person or throw a wrench in plans. Do you have to change at JFK? JFK tends to get delayed, no matter what airline, but otherwise they have always been timely for me.

I have found that departures from JFK can sometimes be delayed, but, so far, that has never affected our arrival time. I guess they just put the pedal to the metal. :rotfl:
