just make sure your bags are tagged all the way through to orlando.
as i've said many times on this board, have the ground agent show you the tags so that you can see with your own eyes that the bags are tagged to MCO (orlando airport).
i assume when you check in, they'll tell you if you're doing preclearance or not. I assumed everyone does, but i don't know.
OP this is exactly right! We've only had to collect our luggage and transfer to another area on one trip via Atlanta but as far as I'm aware that was a pretty uncommon occurance! The staff in DUB should check your bags the whole way through and IF for some reason they are not checked through to MCO then they will explain and its really straight forward to transfer the bags
