anyone flown on thomson?

I did, to Sanford, several years ago, it was the most uncomfortable flight I've ever been on, but this was before they'd revamped all the flights. They are now supposed to be coming up to First Choices standard.

thanks...i saw some really good deals from them, but if it's really uncomfortable it's not worth it....

definately worth checking out which craft they'll use, if they let you! now they've merged with Fc you may get a really good plane, and then it'll definately be a bargain

Just flown with them Manchester to Sanford. Best flight I've ever been on bar none, and I always fly economy, upgrading to extra legroom occasionally and they even beat that hands down.

The plane was spotless and the legroom was unbelievable. 33" seat pitch although it seemed endless. I could slump down in my seat and go to sleep without my knees touching the seat in front, and I'm 5'9" they were leather covered and had seat back TVs which for £5 you could upgrade from the six looped films to a choice of 12 with stop-start, Sky+ type control. Also had several games loaded into the TVs.

The seat layout was 2 4 2 so we had a window pair to ourselves, and 2 3 2 in PE. Though the legroom in those didn't seem any different.

We got a good deal, £289 booked about two months in advance, so the price doesn't necessarily reflect how good the plane was.

I would recommend to anyone.
