Anyone feel the earthquake around DL?

I live in Eagle Rock and I felt the quake as I was just laying on my bed when it hit. It felt weird like someone was just swaying me side to side slowly I didnt think much of it until I saw on the news that it was reported as a 7.2 from Mexico.

That's funny. I wonder what we were doing that we didn't feel it. There were 6 of us there and none of us felt it. And we had a dog with us who didn't seem to be acting strange.

Maybe the ground of the house you were in is different, or the way the house was built was different? I will never forget the Loma Prieda quake when I thought the building I was in was going to fall down on me and you guys less than 10 miles away didn't even know there was a quake!

My 3 yr old and I were on Pooh bear Ride and didnt feel a thing. My husband and daughter were on Splash mountain they didn't feel a thing but had to be evacuated off. He said the CM was shaking and was visibly upset. The CM said that splash mountain was rolling pretty good.
He also saw alot of paramedics there. At first he thought there was an accident.

The ride closures were not for very long. They didn't affect our good time. The only thing that I would have liked was for Disney to make an announcement about what was going on. We and a bunch of people were confused until we Talked to a CM.

I was sitting on a bench next to the Haunted Mansion and just felt dizzy and confused. My husband was kneeling down and didn't feel anything but our 5 kids did. My 17 year old asked if the ground was moving and my 13 year old also felt dizzy.

It was really just disorienting. Up here in Seattle our quakes are usually shakers not rollers.

We just decided to eat and by the time we were done most of the rides had reopened

Is it sad that I was blowing drying my hair with my head down so I felt nothing?
I came out with all my family talking excitingly about it and I was like "uh what?"

I really like hearing about people who were in disneyland when it happened!

just wondering if there have been any other quakes since the big one you felt on the 4th? We are heading down there next month towards the end of the month and into the beginning of June, I hope they are all done by then! We have them here in Central Alaska too, in fact recently there was a 5. one, but that isn't as bad as yours. We had a 9. back in 1964 that was a doozy!! Thank goodness I was very young and don't remember a thing.

In San Diego, we've felt several aftershocks, including about 5 between 4.5 and 5.1 IIRC. They were quick and painless, so I don't know if they would have been felt up in Anaheim.
