We're going to offer the PC as one of the hotel's in our Room Block. For the guests that stay there, what modes of transportation are available to the Boardwalk?

Boat/bus to Epcot and then to the BW?

Is it walkable? It's saying it is part of the ESPN Sports Complex/Boardwalk Area but I'm afraid I'm not that familiar with the area.

No its not walkable. You'd have to get a bus and then transfer.

from pop - bus to Studios, can walk (long) or boat to BW

EPCOT if you want to to get to international gateway which is in the park?

could get epcot to TTC/monorail deal and then resort bus to BW area?

from any park, guests could get a bus directly to BW or BW area hotel.

cabs really aren't that expensive either!

FYI. POP is my fav budget resort!!!! We stayed there in Dec when we got engaged and it was perfect!

I'm going back and forth on what to do...I've stayed at places like the GF and honestly, beyond the original WOW factor, you spend so little time at the hotel, that I question the high price tag of some of the places. When there is a difference of 340 a night to 100 a night - I guess we'll see when it comes down to the deadline where we stay.

PC is sometimes also more convenient than the other value resorts in terms of transportation to and from the parks. I have stayed at all of the value resorts and sometimes Disney will have one bus for all three AllStars - meaning the buses are always packed and you have to stop at two other hotels before you get to your own.
PC always has its own bus

Just so its easier for your guests to get around in their wedding apparel

I stayed at the Pop when it first opened. It is all bus transportation, but it never took long for a bus. The pools are big, but no slides. The food court is large. My son loved the loud theming and game room. It was very clean and for the amount of time we were in the hotel, I am glad I picked it. We stayed the next year at Port Orleans and while I find the atmoshere nicer the room was about the same. I would stay at the Pop again.

DH and I love the Pop, it is our favorite value AND right now it is going through a refurb in some of its buildings, so your guests might get a brand new coat of paint and mattresses, etc.

Their food court is one of the best in our opinion, plenty of choices and always fully stocked, we really love it there for quick getaway trips, the pools are nice too.

I recommended this resort to my boss when he went on a weekend getaway to do Universal and he fell in love with it, he now wants to go back in November so he can resort hop and see all the decorations, etc in all the other resorts.

It goes without saying that we have selected it as one of our options for our room block. We don't think we will have a mod in the mix, just Pop and AKL.
