Anyone familiar with Dayton, OH airport?

Okay, I already have my own airfare for my upcoming trip and now a new memeber has added that can fly out of the Dayton airport. Now, I am from Buffalo so I know what airlines to check for cheaper prices, but I am lost when it comes to this airport. Can anyone help find me cheaper airlines that fly out of there? The dates are 11/28 - 12/3. I hope this isn't too late to get a decent fare.

airtran is the only discount carrier out of dayton. but they do offer nonstops to mco.

most of the major carriers fly out but you have to connect through detroit, charlotte, cincinnati or atlanta

small airport easy to get in and out of

Try ATA , I am flying out of there next month on delta which was alot cheaper than out cincinnati airport. so i 'd say check they too.

We live in the Dayton area...but its always cheaper to fly out of Columbus or Indy. Columbus is about 1hr 15 min from Dayton...and Indy is approx 2 hours or so depending upon the traffic. We have non-stop tickets from Indy on SW this October for $118 per person. What a great deal. Last year we flew out of Columbus for about $130 rt PP...

My guess is since Dayton is a small airport..there aren't many choices to Orlando. Airtran I think offers one per day either direction but its never a chearp airfare we have found. Otherwise you have to connect thru Atlanta (the airport from ~hell~ as we call it...LOL) I belive that the Atlanta airport has some new construction going on too right now which probably doesn't help.
