Anyone familiar with credit cards that cover cell phones?

It seems that the Chase Ink and a few of the Wells Fargo cards cover cell phones. In talking to Verizon, they actually told me about this.

Anyone familiar with this? With the Wells Fargo cards, you have to pay your monthly bill with that card through Autopay.

My new card from NavyFed the paperwork talks about cell phone coverage. I am not at home right now (I am in Orlando). I assume it’s like the rental car coverage where you have to pay for the cell phone WITH the card for coverage to apply.

The insurance offered by credit cards is a great deal. Many people are paying for insurance that they could get for free if they use the correct credit card.
