Anyone facing confusing tasks?

I think this is my biggest vent right now...tasks in quests that have answers which make no sense.

Case in point:
Last night I was doing a quest. You were in one room in the park and the next task said "now find my room again." So I went back to his room and nothign happened. There were several of us saying some form of "found it" until another player said that the answer was the Frontierland Dock. Huh? What on earth does that room have anything to do with the owner's room. But we went in, and sure enough that was the answer. The next task then said to find a skull. Mentioned absolutely nothing about changing rooms. So several of us were wandering the dock looking for the non-existant skull. We went back to the owner's room and the skull was in there. Several players complained about the tasks because there was no indication of where he wanted you to go.

This is not the first quest I did where the tasks made no sense. Is anyone else coming across this?

Yes ,I also have started several quest that made no sense at all.I just stop playing them.

I was playing a Frontierland quest once. The clue was something like "This is the place to go if you want to see a show." So naturally, I went to the Mark Twain. That was not the right answer, nor was the ticket booth at the dock, nor was any other Frontierland room. The quest description noted that the entire quest took place in Frontierland. I quit the quest. I like the quests, but if they are going to be that cryptic, then I don't think it is worth playing.

Sadly, I think I have tried to play a few where there is NO answer.. wondering if they were using it to trade credits from one player to another :sad2:

Yes. I've encountered this in several quests.
I've also tried another quest several times.
It says to find the jewel at then end of ___ ride. So I go thru the ride and at the end I can't find that stupid jewel. I've now gone thru it about six or seven times and still cannot find it. I've stopped in the previous room and searched every walkable/sitable space I can find. No jewel. I've searched every walkable/sitable space I can find in the end room. Still no jewel found.
The quest has been going for several days now and only 1 person has finished the quest. Everyone else that I've seen trying to find that same jewel cannot find it either.
I just want to know where the heck it is. :confused3

Well try to remember that the people doing the quests are getting nothing for it. They give their time and credits and prizes for people to enjoy the quest.

What makes sense to one person doesn't make sense to another and with the various ages in VMK if the clues are not clear it could be a kid doing it. Give them so slack, don't complain just move on.

Well, the one I'm talking about is done by someone that we all know. And as far as I know, he's not a small child. :)

All I want to know is where is that silly gem at. :)

I think speaking up about it to the quest owner is not a bad thing because it helps them to know what is and is not working. It doesn't make for a fun time if no one knows what on earth you're trying to say.

I understand people give their time/credits/prizes for people to enjoy it. But if you're making tasks so vague or nonsensical that no one can figure it out...exactly who is enjoying the quest? It's really frustrating to be spending so much time doing something just for a task to pop up that has no answer (or an incorrect answer...which I've run into several of those) or answers that make absolutely no sense to the point where no one is able to complete the quest. And I'm sure it's frustrating for the quest owner to see no one completing the quest and people coming back and complaining. So in the end, who exactly is enjoying it?

One quest told me to find a room out in the open in a 2 minute time period (a friend helped by telling me it was in the Tiki Room, but they could at least give a small picture clue). Sometimes it's just ridiculous.
