I'm looking for some first-hand experienced input on the Poly Resort's "The Neverland Club". I can't find out a whole lot of info from the WDW website nor on the unofficial ones...other than the ages and times.

I can't even find a pic!

I'd like to take DD15 to La Nouba one evening and thought that DS9 & DD5 might really enjoy this. Has anyone used this for thier kids????

If so, what's your "review"?

About 3 years ago we usd the Neverland Club for DD. She was 6 at the time. It was really cool and DD had a great time. She did not want to leave. First you enter a room that is Peter Pan themed. You fill out paper work, they give you a pager with their direct phone number. Then your child "jumps" through a window as if flying to Neverland!!! It is so nicely done. Inside is a huge pirate ship which has seating and faces a huge screen that plays Disney movies. They have computers, toys, board games, dress up clothing, puzzles, video games, arts and crafts, just a ton of stuff. They serve dinner and drinks and have a bathroom in there. I felt OK leaving her there, but we were ponly gone for less than 2 hours. I do have to say that 2 things bothered me here. First was a little girl who was crying and not one CM was around to help her. I stayed there with her for about 20mins trying to console her because she missed her mommy. Not sure if any CM even noticed her which is because of the 2nd reason I had a problem with this place. It was dim and there are a lot of dark corners, or maybe I should say areas. I just was uneasy about it. Especially with DD being there alone. I told her t o stay out of those areas and she says she did. She spent most of her time wit6h a6 CM6 wh6o was doing arts and crafts with her.

On our last trip we let both our kids, DD who is 9 and DS who is 4 stay at the Sandcastle Club at the BC. It was fantastic and I would highly recommend it! Next trip they will try Simba's Clubhouse at AKL.

We took our daughter, 4 and son 11 to the Neverland club. My daughter loved it. There were not any kids my son's age so him, not so much. The theming was great.

My kids preferred the WL's Cubs Den but that may have been because they were familiar with it. (Sheepish smile) We love going to Artist's Point and when the kids were too little to enjoy it, they were more than content to eat dinner there and play.

I think they found the Neverland Club too big in comparison. It depends on what sort of environment your two would like.

Thanks so much for the threads...very helpful and one even had a link to some pics at laughingplace.com or something like that!

I will be even more comfortable that DS9 will be there with DD5....he is very protective of 'lil sis!

thanks again for all the info!

We were there in 2002, so DS was 8 and DD was 5. They both had a great time, and it was the highlight of their trip. They enjoyed dinner there, and getting sprinkled with pixie dust when they arrived. DD enjoyed dressup and crafts. DS played video games and watched movies. That was 5 years ago, and they still talk about it!

My niece and nephew went there last week. Not because they had to, but rather wanted to. They loved it!
