Anyone ever use TA-CRUISES ONLY??

I know I've read about Cruises Only on these boards before, but I can't find it now. We are looking at booking a 4 night in Oct and with Dreams a cat 9 is a tad over 2000. With Cruises Only cat 9 was a tad over 1600. Anyone run into this before? I love DU, but gosh what am I missing- can they really be that much more than CO? And my big question is -when we sailed in Oct 02 with DU we got a nice upgrade (cat 11 to cat 9) and we were so happy, has anyone heard of getting upgraded with CO? Thanks.

I have used Cruises Only twice before for booking DCL. Both times they came in cheaper than other sources.....but, I found the service to be lacking. We had to wait for returned phone calls for several days and alot of the time they did not have the answers to our questions.

Both times we have picked what cabin we wanted, so I have no info on upgrades with CO.

Just make sure CO and DU and comparing the exact same trip, meaning make sure one is not adding insurance or transfers to the price to make it different. Just compare cruise only prices with the two agencies.

We recently booked with Cruises Only and have had the worst customer service imagineable. I finally had to post something to their website in order to get any help. It took getting to a VP in order to get a returned phone call. The agent that booked our reservation if we actually got her on the phone always said she would have to call us back. Once she had booked our reservation for us she didn't want to talk to us again. I won't use them again that's for sure even though they were the cheapest we found.

This is my first cruise and my BIL and SIL's 5th. We are gonna try DU next time. Unfortunately I found them and this board after we had already booked.

We booked our first Disney cruise through Disney. The second one we booked through DU. Of course it was cheaper and the service was great. Just the past few days I requested a quote from DU and Cruise Only. DU has given me the quote, I made a change request and they have e-mailed the info back me. All the while I have yet to hear from Cruise Only. At this point no matter what they quote I will not be booking from them.

I tried getting a quote from Cruises Only along with my AAA. Cruises only came in $150 "cheaper" but their trip insurance was almost twice the cost of AAA. Unsure of Cruises Only's reputation, I explained to the agent that the $150 discount wasn't quite worth the uncertainty and he actually blasted me for "wasting his time". Go figure! I wouldn't recommend using them simply based on their customer service or lack thereof.

We have cruised 9 times and used CO for all but the first 2. We have booked as a small group (8 cabins) and for just our family, 1 cabin. Service has always been first rate. I have used the same TA for all the bookings. For our last cruise I did use the online service but requested this same TA and she called me within about 2 hours. No other agency has been able to beat the price or the service we have received.

I have used cruises only the last 2 cruises we have booked and love them. I use the same agent. He is great. His name is Ricardo. No one i have talked to beat there price.
