Anyone ever use Small World Vacations to book vac?????

I am going to give them another chance. I am going to contact them today and request another TA. I am just not comfortable with my current TA.

Glad to see you are given them another chance, have fun with your planning

Everything has been taken care of. Thank you to everyone who encouraged me to give Small World Vacations a second chance. I contacted Sue the owner of SWV and she has done everything possible to make it right again. I will be working with a new travel agent and I am sooooo :cool1: excited about planning my vacation to WDW.

Another vote for Josephine at SWV-she was fabulous!

I just found it and her name is Stephanie. Is that who you were working with?

I booked with Small World on July 22nd. My TA was named Stephanie too. I'm sure it's the same one. She said I would be receiving a packet from her in about three weeks which was last Friday. I haven't got it yet. Maybe I'm just paranoid. Did you get your documents yet? She was very pleasant and helpful. Also, very quick to respond to e-mails and phone calls.

I have not received my packet yet either. It's probably about the time that it should be coming, but I am not worried yet. Our trip isn't for 11 months and my deposit to WDW was on my credit card statement this week. I feel confident that it is confirmed. I'll probably give her two more weeks before I contact her to check.

I use Magical Vacations and have been very pleased with Lisa, the owner of the company. She is prompt and very dedicated to her clients. I especially appreciate the amount of detail that Lisa includes when answering my questions. The Magical Vacations website is http://www.wdwvacationplanners.com/

Our trip is for the end of November 2005.

I just checked my last email from her and it was on July 27. She said that I would have my info in about four weeks. (August 25) According to what she told me I am not worried at all. I'll probably stick with two weeks before I contact her.

Your trip is coming up, but I would not worry. I felt very confident with her. Have you noticed if your account was charged for the deposits? If so, Disney may have record of your ressie and you can call them to confirm.

I felt very good about her. Still do. I just wonder about all those odd things that can happen. We have been charged for the deposit. I did call Disney but they don't like to look up reservations unless they booked them.

When you call them just let them know that you are just confirming that all is ok with your reservation since you booked through a travel agent. Let them know that you don't want any information or make any changes just to verify the dates on your res and that the deposit has been applied

I did when I first booked with SWV just for my own piece of mind and the agent I had said that if I booked with them not to worry as they are very familiar with the agency and their agents. She did go on and confirm my dates with me and that the deposit was paid.

That's interesting. This is my first time using a TA. Would Disney confirm anything for you?

I use Nikki at Small World-she has helped me get the disney free dining, helped with advice on restaurants, even told me about the Dis boards! I have called Disney and not gotten things that Nikki has been able to get every time. She is available even in the evenings and responds promptly to e-mails. I'm very happy!

I tried Disney just now and the lady said that she couldn't find anything but that didn't mean much because the TA owns the reservation and sometimes they don't come up in Disney's system until a couple of days before arrival. How's that for a long sentence? :earboy2:

We have always used Small World Vacations and have used them again for our cruise in October. Jodi is our agent and she has been great. She always gets back to us within 24 hours. She is always happy to answer all my questions (even the silly ones).

I am wondering if there was a problem in the communication? Do you have some kind of a filter on your e:mail? I did have 1 e:mail not returned and I called her, she did not receive the e:mail and took care of me right away. Apparently my company has some filter on outgoing mail.

I totlally trust my TA but I'm such a type A personality that I had to call and confirm. The CM was very nice and confirmed everything for me. All I had to do was give my reservation number.

:flower:

I just got an email from Stephanie. Someone on the board let her know that we were wondering about confirmations and she emailed to tell me that she just returned from vacation. I was not worried about getting my confirmation and if anyone reads this and reports to her, please tell her not to rush!! No worries. :cool1: :cool1:

I just got an e-mail from Small World. She just came in from a trip and is e-mailing her clients. How's that for service? :cheer2: I collapse when I get home. :faint:
