Anyone ever took a one day vacation?

Back in Feb 2003, I won a day trip to WDW from a Cleveland TV station. I got to fly down with the morning news anchor and morning TV crew.

We flew down on Thursday morning, stayed one night at AKL, got park passes and food vouchers AND got to appear on the morning show from Epcot before the park opened to anyone else. (6 AM)

What an eerie feeling it is to be in Epcot at that hour of the morning with no other people around!

We flew back Friday evening.

Seems like people take lots of nice 1 day or long weekend trips. I always receive emails with some really cheap airfare from Spirit airlines, and wondered how nice it would be to take a quick trip for such a cheap price.
