ANyone ever take the prescription drug Fastin for weight loss?

A local doctor prescribes this to a lot of people to help with weight loss. Anyone have any experience with it??? Any side affects???

I would be VERY interested to know as well. The only weight loss drug my Dr. has given me is Xenical.

After seeing what Phen-Fen and Redux has done to people several years after being considered "safe" and being readily prescribled I'm reluctant to use any weight loss drug no matter how much it may be considered to help.

So this is just a different brand name of one of the Phen-fen drugs? I think I'll stick to eating better and exercise.

DUH! Why didn't you say it was Phenterimine..lol...I took this about 4 years ago.

Does it work - YES I lost over 100 pounds in 2 months...yes I did say 2 months!

Would I recommend it or take it again - NO WAY! Besides the possibility that it is dangerous to your health,
1. It works way too fast...it is NOT safe to loose weight that fast!
2. When you stop taking it the weight comes right back...you may say "Oh no I wouldn't let it" I really don't think you have a choice. It is like speed....you go 24 hours a day with so much energy you don't know what to do with it all.

YOU DON'T EAT!!!! Not you cut down or don't eat as much, YOU DON'T EAT PERIOD! You don't want food...nothing...ever! I ended up in the hospital with starvation diaherrea (maybe TMI but I think its important) From then on my mother and John would have to sit down and force me to eat. If they left the room I wouldn't eat I didn't want food.......finally they made me stop taking it. And remember all of this happened in 2 months!!

I definatly would not take it again.....its too dangerous and too unhealthy!

The web site also said it is addictive. That is just too scary for me.
