Anyone ever take a taxi from Epcot resorts to Epcot front gate?

Walking from the International Gateway to Future World before the lines get long is a real chore. Would this work better?

Nope--never heard of the taxi route before. If walking is a problem, ask your CM at the front desk for options. They will advise something appropriate, I'm sure.

You can get a taxi from the Epcot resorts to the front gate.
DH and I needed to be a the front gate when it opened for a tour and could not use the International gateway (not opened yet).
The doorman at the Swan flagged down a waiting taxi for us and we got to the front gate in about 5 minutes. The cost was about $5 - $10 with tip. It was much easier than allowing 1-2 hours to get there via the magic kingdom buses.

If you have a tour, you can gain access though the International Gateway before park opening. We did this last year. Just had to provide the reservation information and we were let in.

When we had our tour I asked about that and was told it would not be open. I quess I should have known to ask here instead

There is also now the Princess Storybook Breakfast at Norway well before the World Showcase opens up. The CMs at the Int'l Gateway simply looked up our PS and let us thru. It's actually a really pleasant walk thru the World Showcase before anyone is there, along the lakeside, and the boats get you to the gateway just fine (if you need them). So getting thru for a tour should be a breeze; cheaper and probly faster and more pleasant than taking a cab.
