Anyone Ever Stayed Park And Fly?

On our last trip we flew out early in the morning. With two young children, we thought we'd drive down early (we live 3 hours from the airport) and spend the night in a hotel. We found a hotel where we could park our car while we were on vacation. It was $10 over the price of the room. Plus, they had a shuttle that took us to the airport when we needed to go. He dropped us off right by the entrance to the airport. He picked us up right by the entrance. And, he dropped us off right by our van. It was the BEST. I will never do it any differently again.

yes I did this for my flight out of Boston to LAX this past summer. We live an hour and a half from Boston and had to be to the airport by 6:30 a.m. And we didn't have to worry about finding our way as we were shuttled in. I will do this again too. And cost wasn't much more than what we would have paid to park the car for 10 days anyway.

What airport did you use? Not sure where you are in Iowa, but thought you may use Omaha. If so, what hotel has the park/fly deal?

I am glad to hear that you had a good experience. My son and I are doing the Park N Fly deal from Portland, OR when we fly to MCO in less than two weeks. I have been a little nervous about it. We were able to save over $400 to fly from Portland vs our small airport in Medford, OR, so we decided to drive up the day before (about 5 hour drive) and then stay the night we fly in also. The motel offers free shuttle to and from the airport and a lighted fenced parking area with a security guard at night. So I am hoping our car will be fine. I felt it was a better deal than leaving it at the airport parking, with would have cost me $60 for the length of time we will be gone. Only $10 extra at the motel.
I am glad I did some research and found that it was available.

I am doing the SP and F for the third time on Saturday! I love the convenience of it.
