Anyone ever stayed at the Doubletree

I just got this hotel on priceline for two nights March 15-17. Anyone have any opinions on this hotel. It looks pretty good on the website. I got it for $50.00 a night so I thought that was a good deal.

If it is the one on Hotel Plaza Boulevard I would say that is great. It is a healthy walk to DTD and you can walk the other way to offsite dining options. We have had good luck with the Downtown Disney Hotel busses.

If it's Downtown Disney, great deal. Stayed last year and very happy, especially at $119 a night. This year, same time, they wanted $274 a night.

But there are others, like the Doubletree Castle out on International. I have seen it on Priceline. Probably a great deal whichever one it is for the hotel itself, but the value to you may be different based on location.

It is the one across the street from universal. We are doing the 4 day cruise prior to the two nights in Orlando.

My son wants to do Bush Gardens now instead of univeral - so it looks like we will drive to Tampa from orlando. So as long as the hotel has a nice pool and clean rooms I'll be happy. Too bad we didn't decide this earlier, I would have looked for a hotel in Tampa.

Bush Gardens hours are 10 to 7 so we will only use the hotel to sleep! Maybe the pool if the evenings are warm.
