This has been our family's favorite Orlando-area timeshare resort for several years. Its staff is one of the most accommodating of any of the resorts that we've visited.
I'd suggest asking for one of the buildings that surround the lake. That would give you a choice of eleven buildings and would exclude buildings 56, 57 and 66 through 74.
There are two main pool areas - the Clubhouse Pool that's right behind the clubhouse, where you check in, and just below the Marketplace resort store, the Galley Grill/Pizza Hut Express, and Pavilion Bar, and the Island Pool that's right across the lake via a foot bridge. The Clubhouse Pool area has a lot of deck chairs, a large, irregularly shaped pool, a childrens' pool, and a couple of hot tubs. The Island Pool area has a lap pool and deck chairs, an attached general pool with a waterfall at one end, a sauna, a couple of hot tubs, and a couple of vending machines.
The Activities Center (childrens' MAZE program, basketball, shuffleboard, minigolf, workout room, bocce court, bike and boat rentals, and playground area) is located at the west end of the lake.
Buildings 52 and 53 are on either side of the Clubhouse and are closest to the Clubhouse Pool. Building 65 is close to Island Pool. Buildings 62 and 63 are on either side of the Activities Center. There's a small (and not much used) pool area at the south end of building 62.
We've stayed in building 62 a few times and liked that location at the end of the lake - far enough away from the main pools to not be bothered by any noise but close enough to everything that it's an easy walk. But this year's stay, for two weeks, was in building 65 near the Island Pool and that was a great location. Those are our favorites but I don't think you'd go wrong with any of the buildings around the lake.
I'd suggest two things - a few weeks before your stay you should receive an email from the resort asking if they can get tickets for you or make reservations, etc., you should write back to the resort asking for any specific building locations that you want; and I'd suggest that you request a top floor, end unit for no other reason than noise reduction (nobody overhead, nobody on one side). We've always had very good luck with requests at that resort.
