I lived in one for a month or so last winter in between houses.
They don't have daily maid service, but I think it was twice a week. (Might be different if you aren't on the long term plan!) There are not a lot of overnight guests most of us seemed to be there for a while. Also, as far as I could tell from the brochure they are more in business/residential areas. For example the one in Orlando did not seem to be near anyplace I wanted to stay.
Very basic. My studio room had a queen bed, small chair and table. The kitchen had a bar seating area and full size frig and oven. (No dishwasher.) Generally two story buildings with no elevator.
They did have larger units and they allow small pets.
It was a good cheap option while I was homeless, but I don't want to spend a month in one again!
