Our family of three have a trip planned for March :cool1: All ADRs done. Now we may have additional family members (DD and DSiL) joining us. My question is what do I do about exsisting ADRs :confused3 I don't just want to show up and play dumb..."oh its not for a party of five" but I am concerned at this late date we may loose our preferred times by adding to our party. I know for our CG ADR I have to let them know due to the CC requirement. I guess what I need to know, has this happened to anyone else and what did you do?

Worst case is you will have to wait for a table like people without reservations.

I have shown up with another person, but it was going from 1 to 2 or 5 to 6, where the table could easily accomodate the extra person. I think that going from 3 to 5 might be a problem as 3 will probably get a four-person table and it could be really cramped for 5, if they would even do that.

I would call and let them know---rather than take a chance that I might have to wait awhile for a bigger table.

What abput the other way- i madeadr for 8 and now 4 may not be going- what should i do

we are doing 6 ts

I did this at LTT at the MNSSHP. We have 6 in our family and then another family decided to go with us so that made the group have 10. Our ADR was at 5:30 they actually had one for 8:30 because that is all they could get. We went up to the podium and asked if they could eat early with us. They said we could but we might have to wait 30 min. We said sure we would wait. Well, 5 minutes later our table was ready.

I wouldn't worry about that.

I have shown up with less and said some of our party stayed in the hotel today. It was fine- didn't have to wait any longer.

My mom joined us for several meals in December that we ADRs for. So we went from a party of 4 to 5. We never had a problem. We had some wait at LeCellier and Cindy's but those happen anyway so I can't really attribute it to our larger party size.
