Anyone ever painted a large appliance??

My dad did it a few years ago because his stove was an odd size 50s one and the replacement prices were more than he wanted to spend. It melted. I don't know what kind of paint he bought. I'd like to think he bought specialty paint but I wouldn't put it past him not to. It melted when he used the stove and he constantly had to repaint.

I painted a fridge . It looked painted. But it was better white than avocado.
*** make sure you use heat safe paint.

I also sold appliances a ton of them had magnet stick on color covers to hide them. They were pricey, but cheaper than new appliances.

Also check used appliance stores sometimes for 50 or 100$ you can trade yours for another used one... Specially if yours is nice, but wrong color,
