Anyone ever order from Schwans?

They're new in our town but they've been around for years. It's a great food service that delivers to your door. Their food is AWESOME!!

I've gotten so many people hooked on them and the best part is one of their distribution centers is right up the block from my Mom in Chattanooga. Michael will eat no one else's chicken nuggets since he ate theirs! I just showed up there before they hit the trucks and the cutest guy just got me an order I had missed when I had to leave my home quickly.

If you ever tried them tell me your favorite. Michael loves their chicken, I love their pastas, all of them! The best part is they're so easy to prepare and Lord knows I need that with my schedule!

We all love their Terriyaki chicken and the Lemon Pepper Chicken. ! Hamburger patties are good too!

Tim used to work for Schwans which was great since we got everything so cheap. We don't buy it that much anymore but maybe I'll get it going agian. I hate paying full price though.

Yep, sure do! We buy their Blue Hake ALL the time! We also get their omelets, and little personal size pizzas. Cam loves them! Their ice cream is WONDERFUL! It's taken me nearly 5 years to "train" my Schwanns guy NOT to come late at night though. He had a terrible habit of knocking on my door anywhere between 6 and 11 PM. Uh, no...don't think so! The other problem was, I really wasn't buying from him twice a month, so asked him to come just once a month. That was a tough one for him too. He'd do it for maybe 3 months, then start slipping in an extra visit here n' there. Uh, no...don't think so. A call to the district office finally solved those two little problems.

We've been getting stuff from them for 9 years. My favorites are the salmon and the pies that you bake.

The family I baby-sit for most frequently just started ordering from them and really enjoy it. I have been trying to convince my mom to try an order from them, just to see. Maybe this thread will help convince her.

Their peach pies are wonderful! I love their ice cream and meatloaf too... In fact, I have not been dissatisfied with anything I have had from them, only the prices but it sure works for convenience sake!!

We have the greatest driver on our route. I usually put my order in via the internet when I know that I really want him to stop by. I've told him that if he wants to stop at other times, that's fine, I might be home, might be working. I like the internet thingy, saves me from impulse buying when he shows up...not that you can't add to the internet order.

I got some of the Tangerine/Fruit Punch sherbet, and it is soooo good. Also the root beer float cups....yum....

we LOVE the fajita chicken , we use it for everything, and the bacon, oh yeah.... the golden nugget bars are pretty good too.
Their juices are a pretty reasonable price, but you have to taste test them first....

We have been buying from them for about 8 yrs. Love it! I have not found anything that I don't like. I usually try to order by I'net also. My fav is the boneless, skinless chicken breast - expensive, but well worth it to me.
We live way out in the country - so it is very convenient for us.

I love my schwan's guys.. they started coming right after my accident. A godsend! Chris used to sit by my hospital bed to do the orders.. now Kenny come right in after he knocks twice.. good guys Great service, good products.. Hec one of the guys who had been coming quite a while alerted my dh when I had a horrid insulin reaction and was not making much sense..
Our favoite schwans products Jalepeno Poppers.. cream cheese preferred, dd love the pepperoni pockets, me I love their Veggies.. best I have ever had for frozen veggies. I also enjoy their seasonal things Like the appetizer assortment at the holidays. Yummy...

I do the internet orders too!

BY ORDER OF ME.....he comes once a month....I get the corn dogs....the grandkids eat those for a snack....little pizzas...but my most favorite is the breaded mushrooms and those little chicken wings....I put teriyaki on them and eat them for a snack.....now what is good for pre made meals....for just hubby and me....any suggestions

Pumba, Their meatballs and stuffed shells are good... just top 'em with a jar of spagetti sauce, put them in the oven.. EASY
add a box of garlic bread and off you go..

downside kind of expensive.. but nice for a quick dinner...

We've been using Schwan's delivery for about 6 months now and my entire family is completely addicted to their food! Has anyone tried their french bread loafs...they come three to a package and you just pop them in the oven....they are so good! My three dd's also love the all white meat/breaded chicken breast tenderloin nuggets (or something like that...lol). Again...just pop in the oven.

mrsv98 - Schwan's is a frozen food delivery company/service. They do have a website... www.schwans.com or you can call 1-888-schwans (724-9267) to see if they deliver in your area. You can schedule how often they visit...weekly, twice/month, monthly. They come on pre-set days, which is convenient. The food is a bit more expensive, but it is really high quality..and yummy!

Schwan's is a home delivery truck that comes around with drivers who deliver right to your door. All their products are frozen, but most everything as you can see is liked my someone. They used to be pretty much ice-creams and treats, but they have a complete book of ready to order food.

Yes, they do have a website, they usually come around every 2 weeks and it is worth giving them a try.

I know what you meant, just being silly....I love their sweet corn in the bag, it is so yummy. Their cookie dough cookies that you bake are great too.

Wow! I ran out for a minute and come back to this!!

I agree with everyone else, I have yet to taste ANYTHING that I didn't like. My job is in a special area, I order today and the order comes in the next two days, sometimes the very next day. My parents on the other hand, get deliveries two weeks later!

I love their ice cream also, even though I'm not supposed to eat it! I've only tried one of their non frozen drinks and it was delicious, the kiwi orange strawberry. My family went through it like gangbusters!

My niece is coming to town this weekend so I ordered a bunch of snack items, like the popcorn shrimp and the rip and dips. Yummy!

A small addendum, the distribution ctr I barged in on them was covered with posters repeating how the CUSTOMER was No.1 and how important we are! It was like their mantra. I interrupted a meeting and they immediately took care of me. One of their posters said "Who Pays Your Paycheck?" I felt sooo important!! And they treated me like I was a queen!

Great food, great customer service!
