Anyone ever order from Land's End?

Another big Lands End shopper here! As the others have said if you don't like a product you can actually return it right to your local Sears store, love that! The vast majority of their items are really well made and last well, swimsuits included.

Count me in as another Lands End shopper! I am in Ontario, but they also offer us the great free shipping deals. When I return I can go to a Sears - but it has to be the one that is 45 minutes away as it carries LE products. So I end up shipping return but they have a depot in Niagara Falls, ON so it isn't that bad to send it back.

My girls each had a new suit from September that they wear for the local swim club, swimming twice a week in a chlorinated pool. They are still in perfect shape!!! I just ordered yesterday - new suits for the girls again :) We are headed to FL in two weeks so we need a couple new ones to make it exciting :D

Once you start you won't be able to stop!!!!

I ordered my suit last year for Disney from them and it is terrific. The trip to Disney plus two summers spending at least 4 days a week on the beach and it's still in GREAT shape. And, like a previous poster mentioned, you can return it to Sears. If you order it from the Lands End counter at Sears, you don't have to pay shipping!

Good luck!

Another happy LE shopper here! We buy most of our stuff at the LE section of Sears - it's just nice to try things on etc

We did have a problem with dd's bathing suit this year - first the seahorses (apparently heat transferred) were coming off / fading then the suit just wasn't doing right in the back - like stretching out and not going back (tugless tank). Sears LE took it back with no questions asked - I had the receipt but it had been worn for more than a month. I was really impressed.

My bathing suit rocks - I love it!

I think LE swimsuits are the official uniform at our town's pool. One day 3 girls had on the same suit, which my DD also has but wasn't wearing that day! I got all of DD's suits 50% off in the store and the most we paid was about $13, I did have to up in size a lot since she has such a long torso!

I just ordered one of the tummy control swim-minis (of course I don't need ANY tummy control :rotfl2:) and I love it!

DD loves their winter coats. We tried one from LLBean last year and she hated it, the LE had more fleece lining.

Also like everyone else said, great return policy. My Mom had a bra from there and the wire popped out and it wasn't very old. The store called the 1-800 number, they found the order so they could process the return.

Yes, Very Often, Great Quality & Great Customer Service!

I'm thinking about ordering a new swimsuit from Land's End, but having never ordered from them before, I'm a little hesitant. My niece has a swimsuit from them that I really like, and they seem to be the only place that I can find one--though it is a little more than I normally pay for a swim suit. I certainly don't want to order something that I end up not liking and then not be able to return. Just wondering if anyone here has ever dealt with them and what their experience was like. TIA!

Check their overstock/clearance areas on their website, too. DW just got her new swimsuit from them for $15 total - including shipping. It is her second Lands End suit and she loves them.

I'm curious - for the bathing suits, do you all hand-wash them or machine wash gentle? I've noticed all the ones for my DD say hand-wash & I just don't have time for that when she needs it daily for camp. So, I picked up some cheaper suits from Target for camp.

Besides that, I love everything I've bought from there & am trying hard to stay off the website now w/the clearance sale going on!!

Lands End has been around forever. You can return their merchandise to any Sears store.

Lifetime guarantee on their items too.

I'm glad I saw your review of this suit! I saw it on sale yesterday at Sears and was considering it for DD. Glad I didn't get it!

I machine wash them all, including my own. I don't dry mine in the dryer though because it's got an underwire. The kids just get washed and dried like any other clothing item.

another happy LE shopper here too :thumbsup2
I have ordered many things and always happy, and the return policy is great. a couple years ago a swimsuit faded almost right away, I sent it back and they sent me a brand new one that I still have!

They're well known for quality products and great customer service. Orders ship very quickly - like in a day or 2. They have a great return policy, and you can bring merchandise back to Sears.

I order from them a few times a year for my kids. The website is easy to use and, yes, anything not to your liking can be refunded at Sears. I bought my youngest DS some shirts this year and must have not had enough caffeine that day b/cuz I ordered a size too small :confused3 Anyway, I took them back to a Sears and they refunded the money to my debit card. I do recommend re-ordering immediately for what you DO want because they can sell out quickly. I ordered the right sizes the day I got the package and they came in the mail a few days after I returned the first ones. I have loved everything we bought from them and the items hold up for repeated use.

I machine wash mine in a lingerie bag because it has an underwire and hang dry it. But mine doesn't say to hand wash, it just says not to dry it.

I love lands' end but I don't like their suits. Everyone raves and raves about them but I was really disappointed in them for my girls. They fit well, didn't ride up but the fabric wore really poorly in the seat and pilled and pulled after one or two wearings.

I don't know if the adult suits are better but I haven't bought any more.
