anyone ever hook up going solo?

i am a divorced guy thinking of doing a solo trip. my 14yr old is done with disney for now Lol. i would do alot of resort hoping and do behind the magic tours but i feel like its kinda stupid to go alone? i wont feel like it is stupid if at night i hang in disney bars and maybe meet other single people and make it a little more adult ? i am not talking about the s -word but are there single other single people there hanging out and hooking up having fun?

Hello (almost) Neighbor!!! No worries... alot of us have met for company... and a few had become good friends and park buddy... there's a few site that mentiones dates on where and when they are going/staying...

Do you have any dates in mind??? Alot are going on... I bet every month there is a plan meet either for lunch for jellyrolls or just for plain hanging out... Goodluck and hope to cross path with you!!!

You could post on the DIS meets board and see who's going the same time as you. I go solo all the time, and am having dinner with another DISer this trip, as well as at least one more tenative meet.

There are two singles trips in October that I know of and then more in December. May has usually hosted two large dismeets of singles. Every month practically some singles from these threads is heading to the parks. . .

Post your dates. . .you will have a dinner companion, show buddy, and a bunch of new friends in no time. . .

By the way, my 16 year old son STILL loves doing Disney, we are just back from a week and Animal Kingdom Lodge and he called me the other day wondering when we are going back to Disneyland (he grew up 20 minutes from the "land")

I am planning a trip alone sometime in the next two months, and I am open still on those days, plus I have a reservation already for dec 6-8th at wilderness lodge my home resort. trying to schedule around soccer games

any one going during these times? I enjoy hanging out at the poly pool bar and the view from the beach there is great when the sun is going down. Marty
