I heard about this on the radio yesterday. They had one of the authors on. This company makes you your own personalized romance novel. You pick from a list of books (i.e. a cruise setting, an island setting, a ski setting, etc.) and give them information such as his name, her name, favorite color, home town, etc., and they make a personalized romance novel. You can order it "wild" or "mild".

I confess. I'm thinking about doing this for DH for Valentine's Day. He's so corny, I think he would get a kick out of it. He's probably sick of getting socks and underwear from me.

Anyone know anything about yournovel.com?

DH and I used to work with the woman who co-writes them with her husband. She's creative.

I have not heard of that but it sounds great! haha I have heard though from some of my friends who want to get into writing that right out of college you can get a job as a "romance novel writer" and they literally give u the story frmoa book they just published and you go through and change the characters, maybe the setting and add a minor twist...its a novel assembly line someone said haha!

As far as the novel assembly lines go, have you ever noticed that in some of the romance series each book is the same number of pages? The writers have a daily quota and usually turn out a book in about a week. There are porn books written the same way.

And, no, I don't know how you would get a job doing this!
