Anyone ever hear of the Zip A Dee Doo Dah Road?

I was just reading another WDW discussion board and read about how they are modifying the World Drive so when you drive over the grooves in the road at 35 MPH you will hear the song. Is this true? Has anyone else heard this rumor?
The person who posted said they are modifying the road now. They said they had it on a CM backroad for a while to see if it would work? Peggie

Seven years ago Imagineers practiced with this idea at a landing strip on property.
It is located between the main gate WDW MK and Wilderness Lodge on the right side of the road. There were speed bumps spaced so that if you went over them at 25MPH they would make the sound Zip A Dee Doo Dah. True story. One of many fun facts. My favorite years ago was how the grey water from Epcot was recycled to water the flowers and plants!

Al, I know where this road is. Wasn't that the old airstrip that Walt flew in on? There are airplane tire marks all over it.
Security took my friend Richie there last January and let him fly his remote control plane on the old airstrip. He had a ball and so did Security. They said he can fly there whenever he comes down to FL.
He also flys at RC World, a condo village outside the airport. Imagine moving to a specific area just so youi can fly those darn planes every day. That is Richie's plan, Personally, I want to be closer to WDW.
We drove on the airstrip but never noticed the song. Guess I have to pay attention next time.
But like I wrote, they are working on World Drive now and someone wrote that they are puttinbg in the grooves now. check it out for me if you are in the area Peggie
