Anyone ever get building & room request??

Just curious...we absolutely LOVE our building and had the perfect room this past visit...and of course would love the same room next visit. Has anyone ever been able to do this..I know you can request buildings..but what about rooms? thanks!

Wanted building # 5 at the Port Orleans French Quarter last November. Got it.

Wanted room #: 5032 at the Wilderness Lodge in November 2003. Got it (the view from the balcony is below).



Wanted room #: 1913 in the Tokelau building at the Polynesian. Got it.

Have already requested room 5032 for my stay next year at the Wilderness Lodge.

We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge, Woods View in March '08...that is an incredible view! Amazing! I hope we have something as nice!

We have requested the same room at the WL before and we have gotten it. We like the view so much that we have requested it again for our next trip.

How far in advance to you request the exact room? Did you have the call direct to the resort shortly before you arrived so that they put that specific room aside for you?? thanks...

My friend requested a certain building at GF and got it...requested the top floor too, but did not get it. I think it depends on availablility and who else has requested special rooms/buildings at the time you are there...also, if it is special trip, i.e. special anniversary, birthday of someone in the family, etc.

I requested a bulding for our upcoming trip to GF and I am hoping I get it!!!!!

I've requested buildings at AS Sports on the 2 occasions I stayed here. One time I got, one time I didn't. I guess it just all depends.

I put my requests in when I made our reservation. When we checked in I saw on the screen what I had requested. I didn't fax or call the resort prior to arrival.

We got our second choice for a room request at CBR.

We just got back from the POR and when we made our res. they ask if we wanted the same room as last year because my DH told them it was a perfect room . When we arrived at the POR on the 14th, our same room was ready for us. What a surprise!!! It was really nice that they can meet your request. We were in building 39, top floor, corner room, overlooking the quiet pool.
