Anyone ever get a hotel room to cover for a late flight?

Odd question here...I'm hoping to find a pet-friendly hotel that would give us an early check in time. Any ideas?

We have a 9:30 flight on Friday evening, and we have to be out of our house rental at 10 am. There are no earlier flights on SW that don't cost us an arm and a leg... When I booked the late flight, we weren't taking our dog, and the flight time gave us another park day. But now we have a dog to consider. I was looking for hotels that we could check in to and leave her in the room for the day, but if 3 or 4 pm is the standard checkin time, that's useless. Note she's too timid to leave in a kennel. We had a dogsitter for a few days at the start of our trip, and that was a disaster, so a private hotel room where we can leave her kennel would be perfect. She's happy kenneled, and just sleeps. so we could leave her for 4-5 hours without any trouble.

Or...is there a nature area or park near Orlando where we could spend most of the day that would be fun and allow her?

I would try for a Thursday night booking with a late check out Friday.

However, the Best Friends kennel at Disney has private suites would those work?

Thanks folks. That makes more sense. The Disney kennels look to have some options that are large enough to ensure she isn't terrified by the other dogs.

I also have a dog that is terrified of other dogs. We had a horrible boarding experience that resulted in post-stay vet bills (anxiety induced illness). After that none of us traveled together so someone was home with her. BUT the new pet resorts with private suites have been great. We explained to them her issues, book her a suite, we pay extra for private walks (and at our resort swimming) and the staff gives her lots of attention. She LOVES going now, a total opposite of early years. We have not used Disney but they look to have the same setup as our dog resort. I know you only need the daycare but tell them your dog's needs and book a suite for a day. This keeps her away from the others. Daycare would involve a social setting.
