Anyone ever fly TMA?

I am looking for the best prices for 11 of us to get to our cruise in the summer, for flight and then getting to Port Canaveral the night before.
I am not finding "regular" airline fares less than $232, and I can't book those because the departing flights are so early we'd never make it off of the ship.
I can get flights on Transmeridian airlines (TMA) from here in Toledo direct to Orlando Sanford for $169 each. But I don't know anything about them. Do they assign seats or is it when you sign in? Is it a good way to go? We would get to Port Canaveral pretty early on Friday but also have hours to kill on Saturday because their one flight leaves at 7:10.

I have NOT flown TMA and have no personal experience.

However, I would like to point out that TMA is a charter airline. That has pros and cons. Pro.... They tend to be cheaper. They are subject to the FAA safety regualations. Con... They are NOT subject to a lot of the same ticketing rules that you read about. For example, if the one plane breaks down they don't have to do anything except refund your money. If they decide to cancel the flight, same deal. Also, there have been reports that customer service is a little spotty.

It sounds to me like they are trying to maybe break in to the market and become a scheduled carrier so I would think they would be hesitiate to cancel flights, but... I don't know that they have a lot of extra planes if yours breaks.

Who knows what you should do?
