Anyone ever fly out of Hamilton to Orlando?

Just curious. My SIL and DMIL are flying out of Hamilton and joining us on our trip in April (we are driving). This will be my DMIL first time flying and SIL wanted to fly out close to home rather than dealing with the bigger airport madness. The flights out of Hamilton were pretty reasonable and they don't charge luggage fees for carry on and first bag!

Anyone ever fly out of Hamilton to Orlando? Was it a good/bad experience?

We would love to fly out of Hamilton........your post made me check prices again.....but any I saw were still in the $500 range return with over $125 in taxes.......so guess we will continue to stick with Buffalo-most we have paid is around $300- we always have at least 6 of us so a $200 difference per ticket is huge. Anyone I do know that has flown out of Hamilton loves the airport compared to Toronto.

Good to know! My SIL was able to get round trip tickets in April for $400 each. That was more than Detroit but less than Toronto, so she jumped on them.

I have flown out of Hamilton a number of times. The airport is small and you will have no problems with parking or being dropped off at the doors. Use the second set of doors not the first set where all the taxis are hanging about. It's a very enjoyable airport and has a Tim's in it.

We flew out of Hamilton in the past. We highly recommend it. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The airport is very small which means the parking lot is as well. On our arrival back from FL, we were on our way home quickly.
