Anyone ever fly Ottawa to Cancun?

We have a direct flight at 6am. Do we really need to arrive at 4am? Seems early for such a small airport. Do we do customs in Cancun so we will be on the domestic side to board? Most importantly.....is Tim's open at 5am in the terminal.....gonna need my last XL Timmies before we go.

Yes you need to arrive at 4am, that is actually later than I would arrive but you should be ok. There are often a lot of early morning flights going out and everyone has to go through the same little security area .
Tim's inside the security area should be open, the one outside likely won't. There's also a Booster Juice inside the terminal for the kids.
