Anyone ever feel this way...

I ALWAYS seem to do this... my girlfriend and I are leaving for Disney on Tuesday. I am very excited about it. However, I always seem to think negatively. For instance, before heading down to Florida, I always sit back and think "watch some of my favorite rides be under construction when I get there" or "some of the rides will have to close down for repairs, etc". I guess sometimes I have some weird bad luck....and I don't want my trip to be ruined! haha. Does anyone else get like this?

Just reassure yourself by checking out the disney website to see when rides will be closed for refurbishment. Usually, that is the only time when any rides are closed. Good Luck, and you'll have fun!

So if a ride or two closed for repairs, your trip would be ruined? Sounds like your doing a good enough job of that on your own.

I'm like that now. Except, its just for the dining stuff - all the folks on here have me freaked out with their 180 day reservations and so forth. I don't have any, and I never would have been worried until I looked at this site!

Now come on! The OP was clearly speaking in jest. We all run into "snags" while at WDW, I think the OP was simply trying to make the best of those "snags" by discussing them lightheartedly. :) No need to be snarky.

There are normally some rides closed at all times of the year. This is certainly done for your safety as well as the safety of the other guests. However, Disney usually alternates what will be closed down(only one of the water parks will be down at a time). If you check the D website you can pretty much see what will be closed months in advance so you can plan your trip accordingly. There is so much to see and normally not enough time to do it all, that I wouldn't let a couple closed rides ruin my vacation.

I think I understand where you are coming from. It has to do with not feeling worthy or deserving. OK, I was lucky enough to get to go to WDW, now something just has to go wrong to ruin it. Know that you are deserving of your vacations. So what if a few rides are closed, it's a great big world at WDW with plenty of other things to replace the closed attractions.
