I haven't eaten there but I was considering it last summer when we stayed at the Peabody Hotel. The Everglades Restaurant is located in the Rosen Centre Hotel, which is also near the Orange County Convention Center. While the attire is "casual" with no dress code, it is mainly business people who attend conventions and meetings who are dining there.
Check the menu and you'll find that entrées alone run $25+. Everything is à la carte ($5 for a side of whipped potatoes!). The GC requires a minimum party size of two people. Dinner for 2 would normally run about $90 without the GC (and that would not include appetizer, salad or dessert). With the $25 GC, you would still have to spend close to $65 for two dinners. Even though it would be two very nice dinners, I felt that the price was a little steep and we passed on the GCs.
