Is this at PO-FQ? Is it any good? DH and I were thinking about breakfast here. Would lunch or dinner be better? We're looking to eat at a few different places this trip. The menu for this one looked good to DH and and I always like to try a different place. Any comments on the food or service?

Thanks for your help.

It's at PO Riverside, what used to be Dixie Landings. We enjoyed it for breakfast - great french toast! We didn't think it was anything special for dinner. It was ok, but there are lots of better places. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there unless you are staying at that resort.

Our family eats at Boatwrights once a trip. Mostly becuase our favorite resort is POFQ and we walk over. But when we have stayed at CBR, we have driven over there for dinner.

They have pretty good food. It is never crazy crowded. I love the mozzarella cheese bites and they serve bread that is so warm and fresh. My only complaint is that your salad used to be included in the meal - now you pay extra if you want it.

I like the dinner better than breakfast. I am not a big breakfast eater, that is why. I did it once and the food I ordered was very good. Only once in about 7 years did I have a bad time there. Mostly becuase the service wasn't as good as usual. Plus, as we left, my daughter had left her Pooh light spinning toy on the table. We went back less then 5 minutes after we left, the table hadn't been cleared, but the toy was gone. I was annoyed that they were so cold about it. The kid was hsyterical (that toy broke just recently, and I am still hearing about it!).

We are staying at POFQ this year and we plan on eating there the day we go to Sea World.

We also had the breakfast and it was quite good. Can't comment on the lunch or dinner - Sorry!!

We are eating dinner there a week from Saturday. We haven't before, but we are staying at PO-FQ and it is our 1st night, so we wanted something close to "home". We like cajun food, so we are looking forward to the jambalaya and etoufee.

Visited for dinner last trip - not too busy. Had Jambalaya - OK but not as spicy as I would have liked, but there was plenty of it. After this, the service went downhill - waited patiently for 30 minutes to order dessert - despite repeatedly trying to catch the server's attention, gave up and went to the counter to pay the bill. Afterwards went into the bar next door - the piano player was entertaining and had a great evening. The boat journey back to DD at the end of the evening was beautiful - the lights are magical - I would go back to PO just for the entertainment and the boat but will eat before we get there.

We will be going for breakfast on our next trip...I'm gonna have to try that french toast!

Okay. We're going to try it and see what happens. I think we're going to do breakfast. We always try to do one sit-down breakfast each trip (and we don't do character bfasts usually). I think it sounds like it will be pretty good. Thanks for your responses!
