We were thinking of doing something different this time. Has anyone ever done the parasail and if so, what did it cost and was it worth it?

I haven't done the parasailing at WDW but I did it at Key West and it was so much fun!

I've always wanted to try the parasailing but haven't had much luck locating information about how much, etc.

We went parasailing at WDW and waterskiing/kneeboarding. It was wonderful. We spent several hours on the boat, they did not have anything booked after us. DS was 6 at the time. He went up with me, then also went up with DH. You can see for miles. They were great trying to teach DS how to waterski. He had trouble so they put him on a knee board and he had a great time. I would love to it again sometime.

My wife and I are in our mid 50's. We loved parasailing at WDW. It is very smooth and safe. You will not even get a drop of water on you. You are released from the back of the boat and reeled back onto the boat. It is alot of fun and the view is great.

I thought the age requirement was 12? You mention a 6 year old went?

My DH and I parasailed at DW last February and it was great! I don't know the cost as we were on the silver plan and didn't know the actual amount it was worth.

Mike and I went seperately and neither one of us got wet at all! The kid on the boat even made a comment that I didn't need my swimsuit, I could have just worn normal clothes! :smooth: I was petrified the whole time, but it was amazing to see MK and Epcot in the distance. I felt very safe with Disney and it was a very memorable experience for both of us!

Enjoy!

Does anyone know what the ballpark figure is to do this?

We went tandem. So we were stapped in a double harness. It was fun
