We got inspered watching the show last week, and we ordered the DVD online, and I got it yesterday and tried it...O M G!! :scared: :faint:

I thought, "Sure, it's been about a year since I've done any real workout, but I can get right back into it...

UMMMM...NO!

It's actually a very good workout, and I'm going to keep at it.
But for the first time here's how it went:

I started with the warm-up, (you know, a nice slow series of stretches, like you should do with any good workout)...I barely got through that! :rotfl:

Then comes the "low intensity" cardio workout...I thought, "No biggie...it's gotta be good for beginners."
It kicked my bootie! (But I did make it through 24 of the 30 minutes before I felt like I was going to pass out or puke! ) :thumbsup2

So then I woke this morning with very little control over my thighs...And I almost fell down the stairs!! My legs are jello!

Anyway, like I said, it's a GREAT workout, I will definitely stick with it, I'm proud of myself for making it through the first time...and as I get a little more and more fit, it will become easier. Baby steps, right?

That's what I USUALLY do with workout videos, but I really wanted to actually get right in and do this one! I'm glad I did, but geez!!

Well, I bought it and watched it once

When I was in grad school, I earned extra money working in a video store. The owner's wife used to put on the Richard Simmon's videos and watch them every day. She told people that she was sure that she would lose weight if she watched them enough! :rotfl:

Where can you get this DVD? Walmart?

:rotfl: I wish!!

I got mine on Amazon.com

Cool. I may pick that up. Do you need any equipment or can you do the workouts at home?

OK, you are scaring me! We bought the DVD at Costco 2 weeks ago. Haven't tried it yet. :lmao:

I have had it for a while now. Just so happens that I did the "Sculpt and Tone" this morning :thumbsup2 (that's excercise routine #3 on the program list)

It's more of a spot and tone workout...not quite as bad as the cardio ones.

Billy Blanks Tae-Bo workouts are awesome too! :thumbsup2 (met he and his DD Shelley...super nice folks) :goodvibes
