We got inspered watching the show last week, and we ordered the DVD online, and I got it yesterday and tried it...O M G!!
I thought, "Sure, it's been about a year since I've done any real workout, but I can get right back into it...
UMMMM...NO!
It's actually a very good workout, and I'm going to keep at it.
But for the first time here's how it went:
I started with the warm-up, (you know, a nice slow series of stretches, like you should do with any good workout)...I barely got through that!
Then comes the "low intensity" cardio workout...I thought, "No biggie...it's gotta be good for beginners."
It kicked my bootie! (But I did make it through 24 of the 30 minutes before I felt like I was going to pass out or puke!
)
So then I woke this morning with very little control over my thighs...And I almost fell down the stairs!! My legs are jello!
Anyway, like I said, it's a GREAT workout, I will definitely stick with it, I'm proud of myself for making it through the first time...and as I get a little more and more fit, it will become easier. Baby steps, right?
