Anyone Ever Do An Airboat Ride?

Hi - We are headed back to Orlando in June and since we just did the parks in February, we are looking for some different things to do.

Wondering if anyone has done any airboat tours? Were they worth it and is there a special company that we should use.

Our friends did this about 3 years ago and never stopped raving about it -- it was the highlight of their Orlando trip for them! I'm sorry I don't know what company they used.

I did one in New Orleans about 4-5 years ago, it was very cool, went into the old swamps of New Orleans and saw all kinds of wildlife and learned about the local ecology.

One thing we noticed, it was quite cold, you get going very fast on these things and the wind really gets to whipping across the boat, and the big fan only accelerates the wind, so make sure you have plenty of warm clothing and a windbreaker jacket or something along.

Don't forget earplugs. It can get really loud!
