Anyone ever check their points and have MORE points than previously listed?

We just returned from a 10-day trip (5/27/16- 6/6/16); it was a split stay between PVB and AKV. We have two contracts. We used some of our VGC points to book the Poly at the 7-month mark. And we used our AKV contract to stay at AKV the last 5 nights. When I looked online before I left, we had 67 points remaining from VGC UY 2016; I checked today and it shows 88 points?? Not that I'm complaining...but just wondering why we would have gotten 21 extra points. We had no issues at the Poly...however, something must have happened during the day to water or electricity because there was some note and voicemail message; we were at the parks all day, so we wouldn't have even known about it if it wasn't for the note and voicemail message.

We did rent out some points through David's DVC for mid-May, but that trip was over and completed by the time that I last looked at the DVC website on 5/25/16 and it showed 67 points.

I can't figure it out! Anybody else ever had this happen?

After years of ownership we have learned to never assume that DVC records are correct. We have been shorted points, received extra points, had a stranger added to our account and incorrect dues accounting. Some corrections were easy, others we had to fight for.

You can check your account history and look for the adjustment.

Keep records offline as a backup and double check everything.

Thanks, Bill! It shows a manual adjustment was done to add points. It is equal to a one-night stay there, so it must be that they credited points due to the issue with either the water or the electricity. I can't remember which utility that it was since we were at the parks at the time. Kudos to Disney for doing something nice on their own, without any sort of complaint being voiced!

Good to hear, one word of caution, when the resort messes with a DVC reservation that is when we had the most errors so keep your eyes open. Once the resort canceled our reservation and re-booked it due to an IT error. The points went into holding and they borrowed points to make the new reservation.
