Anyone ever been to Cypress Gardens?

looking for opinions/feeback on this place. wondering if it is worth the almost 40 dollar admission. (yea, i know you can get another day free within 6 days of your first visit with that admission price)

how does it relate to say - hershey park? any of the Disney parks? Sea World? or is it a more of a Great Adventure feel?

how much of it is truely spectacular gardens? are the rides/attractions/shows worth it?

It's a much smaller park than any you mention, and targeted to younger kids. Here is a trip report:

I really like Cypress Gardens, though I have only visited there in January last year (will be back this June though). It is not a big park like HersheyPark or Sea World, but its fun, and it is extremely beautiful. There are many many gardens.

The ski show is fun, and their rides are basic amusement park fare, but they do have a nice selection making it a good "relaxing" park.

It is nothing like Six Flags Great Adventure, its sort of like Hershey, rambling pathways, with amusement park rides, but smaller, and more garden oriented, similar to Busch Tampa in that respect.
