Anyone ever ask you about the "green ribbon"??

Seeing how many DISers wear green ribbons on their person, backpack or stroller, has anyone ever asked you about it?? I was thinking about our trip in 2000. It was the first trip to Disney since being on the DIS. I had tied a green ribbon on the back pack that I carried daily into the park. No one ever approached me and asked me about it. The first time my DH carried this, we were in Epcot...he wasn't 'versed' in the green ribbon like I was. We were walking when all of a sudden this woman ran up to him and almost yelled "Is that a green ribbon!??!" His expression was priceless!! He started to turn quickly and try to see behind him....kind of like you would do if someone told you there was a big spider on you!!! Luckily, I was nearby and ran up yelling "Yes it is!!!"

Anyone ever ask you about the ribbon??

I've had a few CastMembers ask me about it, but the only Diser I met at the MK was Claudia1. Is she still here? Haven't seen her around in a while.

The other day, I saw a lime green ribbon on a stroller I was parking outside Festival of TLK. I grabbed a piece of paper and scribbled "a lime green ribbon?? Are you from the DIS?- CM Angie aka AngieBelle" and stuck in in the ribbon. I wasn't there when the show dumped out though so I never saw the owner. If I see a lime green ribbon, I walk up to the person and say "Are you from the DIS?"

I haven't got mine yet, but next time I am out....I am buying it for the stroller. I am also thinking of making a green bracelet. As for the DIS shop, the tshirts are pricey and I would need 7, wouldn't I? The ribbons/bracelet would be something that could be worn daily.

The only person I had ask me is AngieBelle! (HI!)

I was at the MK looking at pins when I saw this CM staring at me...LOL then she asked ...I was so shocked because the only ones who ask me about my ribbons are my kids! (I've never told anyone what they mean ...my son would think I was a dork!

I was in the parks the first week of November and wore my Green Mickey Heads everyday.

I was only approached by a young girl in line behind me (about 10) who was looking at my Mickey and so I explained to her what it was.

And at MGM, I was approached by CM-Jacki (with the Red Hair )who is the daughter of jan-ma of the DISboards. She asked if I was a Dis member and explained about her mother. She also said that DIS members are often better informed about happenings around the parks that CM's are.

So if anyone knows Jan-Ma tell her Jacki is a really nice girl and that she should be very proud of her
