I know a lot of people here complain and put down Facebook. I think they just go to forums or groups that post political stuff.

But, I love Facebook for their art or craft groups.
Just type in "machine embroidery" under a FB groups search. Pick one that is a private/closed group that has a LOT of members and a high post count in a single day. (Meaning there are a lot of discussions.

) Make sure it has admins moderating it, to keep out spammers. And that the rules list: No Selling, no advertising of any kind. No political discussion. Stay on topic. The admins are there to make sure of that. They will boot out negative trolls too.
Private/closed groups like that have a lot of members posting their projects and love to explain how they got those results, what machines and materials they used, as well as techniques used. They always love to troubleshoot and help each other get past difficult problems. I find these groups very inspirational. We're all there for the same love or interest.
You can even lurk and do a search in the group for different machines and see what projects were done on them. Or ones that people warn to stay away from.
