while booking 2009 vacation I was offered ddp without having to buy one day ticket because we have AP.....has this happened with anyone else? This must be new....I was told that now along with DVC that they needed to do this with AP holders, I guess alot of complaints about having to purchase more tickets?I sure hope the cm knew what he was doing...

Yes I'm sure I read that this change was implemented this year, so AP holders could buy the dining plan without additional tickets. I think the only exception is free dining, where even AP holders need to buy a MYW ticket.

It's true. We even added dxddp to an AP-discounted room for our vacay next month. If you log into the passholder website, it gives you the option of pricing it. It does, however, become a package with the full payment required at 45 days.

You can get the free dining promotion only with a room/tickets package. But AP holders can now buy a room/dining package, no tickets (although they can't get this package with free dining). It's also possible that they could get an AP discount on the package.

does everyone on the resi have to have a ap? I am planning a grand gathering with about 11 people and only 6 of us have ap....The room will be in my name.I am getting 2 ALL STAR SUITES in aug 2009.

Only one adult AP must be presented at checkin, and the room must be in the name of the AP holder.
