Anyone else working tonight??

I'm a pharmacist in an acute care psych hospital and stuck here until 9 PM. Then, I'm "on-call" until midnight, so no partying for me.

We were really busy all day -- guess all the docs were trying to get out of here early. Lots of new admits, too. The holidays are tough on everyone.

So, is anybody else at work?

I'll be going to work here in about 3 hours so no party for me tonight either. I'm more than used to it though. I think this is the 5th NYE in a row that I've worked.

I was supposed to work the lunch shift today and brunch tomorrow but I caught whatever bug has been going around and can't work
The restaurant is closing for 3 weeks for renovations so I am all done with work for a bit.

At work now till 7am. I know I'm safe and getting paid double time and a half so not so bad.

My husband is working at the airport. He went in at 3 and just confirmed that he'll be there til 3 am because of the weather. Me, I'm off until the 4th.

My sister is working tonight at the women's hospital in Orlando.

Working all night till about 8am. Lots of year end processing going on. I'm in IT and also had to work Christmas Eve. Hopefully next year I'll be off.
