I'm seeing thunderstorms for Orlando on Sun Dec 14th. We have tickets for the party. Anyone see a better forecast out there?

What will happen if it rains?

I'm watching too!!! I hear that if it really rains a lot they may give you refunds towards a different showing. I'm thinking that the rain won't be too bad. I can deal with a little shower. But not torrential downpours. Been there, done that in August!!! Here's hoping the thunderstorms happen mid afternoon and it passes before 7!!!

I'm also keeping an eye on the weather, both in Disney and up here in MA. I'm hoping that the showers are just the passing kind, although a few showers wouldn't keep me from going to the party that night. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for nice weather, however; it can't hurt, right?

I'm watching the weather too, but not for the party - we have to drive through it to get to Disney World! My mom already decided to leave here Saturday to get back to NJ - I think DH's parents will make the same decision. (More time to pack, at least!)

The forecast I've seen calls for scattered t-storms during the day and showers in the evening.

I hope you all enjoy your party and we have a safe and fairly dry drive!

The weather website is showing t-storms for Sun and Wed, the only 2 nights we have plans. Oh well, can't do anything about the weather, right? We will be packing for layers and bringing ponchos.

I was hoping for warm weather. But just being there will be enough. Hope everyone has a magical week!

:Pinkbounc :bounce: Hubby & I are doing the please don't rain dance. We arrive Sunday for the week and have tickets for MVMCP on Tuesday and the Candlelight Processional on Wednesday. Originally we were only going to have Monday thru Thursday but Hubby was able to get the entire week off. So at least if it does rain and they give us rainchecks for a different day we will be able to be there to use them.

I've seen scattered showers and a chance of a thunderstorm. I like the forecasts that show the sun peeking out from the rain cloud. Wishful thinking, I guess. :D

Yes, I am checking the weather daily! At first, it was supposed to rain Saturday, but now it has shifted to Sunday. :(

Hopefully, it will change again. Unless, it is a downpour, we will go anyway.

Here's hoping for lots of :sunny: !

We went to MVMCP on Dec 4th. I was so worried because they called for rain all that evening. Guess what - It didn't rain a drop! It was wonderfull weather and the party was awesome. Hope the weather holds out for you - and don't worry - you'll have a great time!

It really didn't rain during our MVMCP on 12/14. It was ver-r-r-y cold, b-r-r-r-r. I think we felt it more because it was damp.

I loved the parade and the castle forecourt show. And Wishes was awesome. My DD6 said her favorite thing was the cocoa and cookies. Glad I took the time to get them for her while we waited for the castle show.

Didn't do or see much else because DD fell asleep before Wishes and DH was just too cold to hang out too late.

We had a blast! We got mega soaked on SpMnt, but otherwise it was a great time. We rode everything we wanted with the longest wait being about 15 minutes for Mickey's PhilharMagic. I felt that the tickets for MVMCP on this night was the best money we spent during the whole trip. Maggie
