Anyone else watching The Bachelorette?

I really dont see Grahm being in it for the long haul. I know she has said how attracted she is to him. I still think its because he has the scruffy look that reminds her of Brad:confused3

I really like the single dad the best.. I could totally see them together, though dont know if the chemistry is there on her part. Its so hard to really tell, we only see bits and pieces of things.

I'm going to be watching...I only saw the first episode...It looks good.

Man! I started this thread & it turns out that the first episode is the only one I've actually watched. Oh well...guess I wasn't that into it after all!

I missed all but the last 30 minutes tonight but based on the other episodes -- I agree with you.

To me he is a male Robin (Not the Mavid loving one. ;) ) from this most recent Bachelor season. I get this "I will get as much time as I can with her and will step on as many toes necessary to get it and if you get mad -- too bad! I'm not here to make friends." vibe from him. I do not find it in the least bit endearing. You can be in this for the person and still be a decent human being. I thought Robin was a Bee with an itch and I think he is a jerk.

As I said I didn't see it tonight so I might have missed some new developments but he also seems to be lacking in ANY personality whatsoever. I fail to see the appeal of him. Because his parents died? That is about all I see that they have in common.

I gotta agree!!

Ok I watched last night

First thought YUCKIE POO on Ron! Man is that guy creepy. So angry. Sir you have anger issues. (wonder why he is divorced? Not really)

And I am going to say that I think Jason is a little too much drama for my taste.

Graham is the kind of guy you fool around with - you don't marry him.
Twilly is the guy you date for awhile because he is goofy in a funny way then you realize - no he's just annoyingly goofy.
The cook guy- well he cooks so that gives him some points in my book - but he doesn't have that yummy factor in any other area.
Jesse seems to have a kind soul and is probably a great guy-- but a professional snowboarder? For a husband? Again date don't marry.

And Jeremy, well I have to say he seems to be the most into winning her over. As in - he wants to win I don't know if he is really that into her or not.

Brian! Now I think they are underplaying him for a reason- I think he is going to be around for the long haul. Well of course last night I thought he was gone- but then in thinking about how they don't show much of him- leads me to believe he may be the one?

Yeah what's with her crying fit next week? I missed the whole promo and only caught the dramatic"You are all breaking my heart why don't you just leave" stuff. WHAT HAPPENED? did they show it?

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

And does anyone else think Graham is a wee bit short to be a pro basketball player??

I am sorry to see that she got rid of Richard. He was probably my favorite.

My thoughts too! Graham doesn't look like a basketball star, his looks do nothing for me and he seems to into himself.

I am very sad to see Richard go, he was my favorite. But he didn't seem to really be into getting to know her and opening up, think he is kind of sheltered?! But I really thought he would have been the one...... boy was I wrong.

I didn't even think about him looking like Brad, but boy do they look alike! Maybe she's using him to get back at Brad without even knowing it!

I do like the single dad, he seems to be there for the right reasons and she seemed to take it pretty well when he told her about his son. He also said that the mom wasn't in the picture any longer... wonder if she will be back into the picture now?? I'm sure there will be more drama with that issue?!

Now we've gotta wait till next week!::yes::

Ok, Here goes my run down:

First, RON, the way to a girl's heart is never to say, "I woke up this morning thinking you weren't my type..." I don't care what you say after that, all she's going to remember is "You're not my type"! This guy is just oblivious to what an idiot he actually is. I loved when he got sent home and was telling himself that he didn't get rejected, she just picked other guys. Umm, OK.

How did SEAN get a rose? We never even saw him talk to DeAnna this episode did we? I still say he needs to go, although the hair did look a little less mullety this time.

Poor RICHARD. When they showed Jesse saying there was a 95% chance Richard would be getting a rose, I knew he'd be leaving. He was really nice and although, if DeAnna didn't feel anything with him she was right to send him home, I hope he goes on to find his soul mate. Good guy.

TWILLEY, seriously, how is he still here. His annoying factor is up there, and I just can't see how DeAnna would be able to forge a serious, meaningful relationship with him.

Gotta Run, more to come later.

Beth

Okay, I just have to ask - why or why is she NOT asking for more one-on-one time with Brian? She keeps pulling away the same guys. We almost never see him and he is by far the cutest to me with a great smile.

Graham is a little skivvy to me and like others have commented, reminds a little of that creep Brad. But, when they showed previews of the entire season during the first show, there were several scenes with her making out with a guy with a beard, so I'm thinking she's keeping him around for the long haul.

Not sure what I think about Fred, but it was very sweet what he said about her on the Ellen Show.

I think Brian might be the one too- they are barely showing him. I have to say though, I kind of like Twilley. He seems nice and fun- haven't gotten to see his serious side yet. I love Jesse- his hair IS a bit goofy- it needs to be longer or shorter. He reminds me of a grown up Spicolli.:rotfl: And he did say he was ready to leave snowboarding and settle down- he made it sound like he was all set financially.

So far I am really liking Jason and Jesse. (I think Jesse reminds me of an ex who was also into snowboarding and from Colorado)

Twilley ~ I think she'll keep him around just for the entertainment factor alone. Also, his first name is Blaine, everyone just calls him by his last name.

Graham ~ Too shy for her. She does not want to work that hard to get to know him better.

Jeremy ~ I like him, but doubt he will be the final one.

Fred ~ Just 'cause he is from Chicago I want to see him go as far as possible.

Ok, I'm back. Boss walked into my office, so I had to click off.

I think I've found my new favorite in JASON. Their romantic dinner was just so sweet. I loved that they both shared some personal stuff. DeAnna telling him about her mother was just heartbreaking. I thought it was sweet of her to get the star in Ty's name, but I'll feel bad for Jason now if she cuts him anytime soon.

Now, how HOT is BRIAN? When they show him, I just start drooling. Me Likee! ::yes:: To me, he's much nicer looking, not to mention more mature, than Graham, who DeAnna seems to think is hot.

FRED, I love the Chicago accent and I think he seems really nice. Both FRED and JESSE have shown the ability to kick back and have fun, but also had some nice, serious conversations that show they do have relationship potential.

I still think ROBERT needs to go too. Like I said before, he just strikes me as arrogant and pretentious. I can see a little bit why a pp was getting some gay vibes from him, but to me it strikes me more that he's trying to come off as sophisticated or something. Whatever it is, it's missing the mark IMHO.

Okie Dokie. I think that's it. Can't wait for Monday!

Beth

Just FYI, if you miss an episode, ABC has the complete episodes on their website.

I was so glad Ron went. What a creep!

My favoirtes are Brian and Jason. They both seem very sincere. I liked Jason even more after hearing his story. A guy that has had his heart broken in the past (like it sounds like he has) is even more careful not to break someone else's heart.

I just wanted to add something I observed about Deanna...

She's still in mourning. She has not allowed herself to mourn her Mom and the wounds were reopened by Brad. She is bottling her feelings up and looks like she's about to blow.

No person like this needs to jump headfirst into a relationship. She's going to demand that they give her everything she hasn't felt fulfilled with and that person will never be able to do that for her... no one living can.

Her connection to Jeremy is based on this feeling that she has to have someone around her who knows what she's going through. She wants empathy, not sympathy.

Sorry, I was a grief counselor for 22 years and I've seen so many like her. I wish she would take her time and make herself complete before cleaving herself onto someone else....

So, who knows who Ellen was pointing to when she said, "And I don't see him lasting much longer."
It looked like Brian was sort of in the area where she was pointing.

I think that she is going to end up with Jeremy, Jason or Graham based from the previews that they are not showing anymore.

Grahm gives me the creeps. He seems like a jealous guy too. I get a bad feeling from him.

ohhh....you are so right...I was trying to figure out what it was about Deanna that felt sad and that's it!!
