Anyone else watching "Revenge"?

What does everyone think about this season? I was a bit confused. I think I need to re watch the last episode!

me too, but it appears that when Emily told Jack the truth, it kinda backfired~ and now Aiden exposing her to Victoria makes it look like she's in over her head. However, Aiden coming back like this, seems almost TOO obvious to me. Nolan being hurt by her actions is the tough one..I think Emily is going to be fighting her own demons right along side her enemies this season

I think this season is going to be more about Emily looking beyond the revenge and her plan. She obviously had second thoughts about the priest after she had put her plan into motion. Nolan, Jack and Charlotte being caught up in her plan (as was "Amanda" and Declan, too) are going to be more a conscious for her this season, I think.

I think if Aiden really wanted to get back at her, he would blow her cover :confused3. I wonder if they are still working together or if he just loves her enough to not expose her.

I thought Aiden and Emily were still working together until he went to look for the box. Then I figured he really did turn on her. But I don't remember what happened last season that made her his enemy now?

If I remember it right he told her he loved her and wanted her to call of the revenge thing and she chose revenge and marrying Daniel over him. His sister died too and I think that was part of it too.

I didn't understand why Charlotte was so upset with Emily. I must have missed something or forgotten about something.

I don't think they ever said. Maybe she found out Emily is really Amanda. I don't think the writers have revealed the reason yet.

I think it's meant to be that it doesn't all make sense and that we figure it out as we watch... it's been like that in the beginning of the other seasons as well. Example, (unless I missed it another time), we just found out last night what happened to Charlotte's pregnancy. I kind of thought last night's episode was a little cheesy, but looks like it gets better next week. I'm wondering how Daniel's French friend will all fit into this... don't know the name of the actress, but I loved her in Pan Am. I've loved this show from the start and hope this season is just as good as the others...

In the first episode of the season, Charlotte confided in Emily that she thought her mother was having an affair, when in reality she was spending time with her long-lost son. In an effort to get rid of Ashley, Emily used that false info to tell Victoria that Ashley was going around threatening to reveal that info and they both banished her from the Hamptons. Since Emily was the only one Charlotte told that info to, she knows Emily broke her trust.

Victoria briefly referenced the miscarriage in the first episode when she's with Charlotte at the stables.

Oh that right. I had forgotten that part.

Thanks Lola :)

I'm disappointed in this season. What happened with Nolan? They couldn't figure out how to write it, so they just let him out & don't explain it? That's a total cop out. And I don't like Aiden coming back & working with Victoria. OK, he doesn't want her to keep going with her vengeance, so he decides to take revenge on her? Doesn't make sense in terms of the character development.

I do like that Emily is beginning to see shades of gray in her search for revenge. But even while trying to fix her plot against Father Paul, she's doing it for her own goals. I'm beginning not to like Emily much.

The thing that makes the most sense is Jack's reaction. She has lied to him and betrayed him in so many ways, there's no way he can react any differently. It's the only reaction that rings true in this season.

I did miss it then! I'll have to go back and watch again. Thanks! :thumbsup2

I agree~ hopefully they go back and fill those holes in~

Aha! So now we know about Emily and Aiden!

Thoughts about last night's episode?

I was surprised how happy I was that Aidan and Emily were working together still. I didn't love them together but I really hated the appearance that he was working with Victoria.

Jack is still entirely insufferable as is Daniel. I'm not digging this season at all. More Nolan, more plotting, less Patrick and Margaux.

I thought my husband was going to jump out of his skin last night when I sat straight up in bed and shouted "Oh my god YES!!" when it was revealed that Emily and Aiden were working together. He was just falling asleep and wasn't sure what the heck I was yelling about. :rotfl2:

I am probably the odd man out here, but I want Emily with Aiden...for the time being. Daniel is a joke. Jack? Meh...he's ok, but it's WAY too predictable.

Aiden is enough of a challenge for Emily and yet is everything she needs. ;)

When Aiden & Emily argued loudly enough so that it wouldn't seem planned when she "outed" Victoria, I knew that Aiden was working with Emily again. If they were really on opposite sides, the ice would have frozen Nolan's dolphin enclosure. And that was confirmed when the mystery account proved to be "just a coincidence."

Jack's predictable because he's the only one who acts (and reacts) like a normal person!

I'm pretty sure that Emily will ultimately end up with Aiden.

So very true! :rotfl2:

I think I love this show because as unrealistic as the whole story line may be, this little piece of me LOVES how these women can be so vindictive and demeaning and pull it off with class and a smile! That is one art I need to learn. :rotfl:
