Anyone else watching "Revenge"?

The wedding ring was actually the bad guy's. You can see it when he opens the door after Jack and Amanda leave the hold when they get too hot. Here's a screenshot:

So I wonder if that means his wife is going to show up for some revenge of her own?

She might just think that it's good riddance (in listening to him tell Jack what big liars wives are). His brother, on the other hand.....:rolleyes1

I find that it's really stretching credulity at this point.

1) There is no way that the rich "seasonal" people, including the Graysons, would ever support a casino near their mansions. Why, it would bring in all the "wrong sorts" of people! If Conrad even considered it because he'd own the property, he'd be ridden out of town on a rail! (And I don't think he'd ever be able to get a casino license anyway!)

2) Victoria took off in Helen Crowley’s limo. How did she get back to the Grayson’s, once she was dropped off wherever Helen goes? And wouldn’t someone like a housekeeper or the driver or somebody have figured out that she wasn’t Helen?

3) Emily would use “infinity” as a password? She’s a hell of a lot smarter than that. Besides, who's her closest friend & ally? Wouldn't Nolan have insisted that the data be encrypted, with as strong an encryption as he could? Heck, I bought a cheap laptop, and even it had a fingerprint scanner on it!

4) How come people who stow away on ships or hide in places for hours and hours never need to go to the bathroom? Marine bathrooms make a lot of noise.

5) There’s no cell service on the boat, but they get Internet so Nolan can hack into the computer?

6) Jack’s idiot enough not to realize that Amanda might be telling a story so the guy doesn’t kill him?

7) And I'm still not convinced, even after the "slip away" (steal much from Titanic?), that Amanda's really dead. Shows like this always have a way of resurrecting people.

Now all of this doesn't mean that I won't keep watching, but the show is getting very close to jumping the shark.

I wondered the same on all of these, especially number 7.

I question all those things too but who cares? It's entertainment. There's no credulity to begin with because there's no way Emily's real identity would be kept a secret for so long.

MTE. I look at it as entertainment and try hard not to look into the plausibility (sp?) of the majority of the things that happen. Someone would have figured out the Fauxmanda/Emily identity switcheroo long ago, especially someone with the power of the Graysons or the Initiative.

Don't overthink it! Just sit back and enjoy! :goodvibes

4. I have an iron bladder -- I can go over 12 hours without needing to go. He could also have not flushed? Reminds me of Ramona the Pest when she asks her kindergarten teacher how Mike Mulligan and his steam shovel could have dug all day without going to the bathroom.

6. He did know. After the initial shock, he realized, or so it seemed. The fight was staged so that they could get the lifeboat out.

Wow. This week's show was really emotional. I liked the "back to basics" Emily decided upon (and I really was impressed by her acting ability with just a look). Maybe "the basics" will clean up some of the more complicated story lines.

I think Amanda was sent to a foster home after her father died, and when she set fire to Mason Tredwell's home, we saw that flashback where she set another fire and it was her foster home.

What does everyone else think of Trask (is that his name?), the new Initiative contact? He's so creepy to me. :scared: Helen just seemed aloof :snooty: - this guy just plain scares me.

Did the person say he was Amanda's "foster" brother, or "step" brother?

He typed out on the computer message he was her foster brother.

I hope the show is getting back to basics. It's been entirely too overwhelming for me lately. Way too far fetched and hard to follow.

He'd be a perfect vampire ... very plastic looking and bloodless.

So what do you all think of them introducing this new character and what do you all think he has to do with the revenge other than yet another distraction? Looks from the previews like he will be trouble for Emily rather than help. :scratchin

I'm not entirely convinced that Fauxmanda is dead, particularly since Charlotte said she wasn't sure it was her. It was just too easy getting rid of her that way.
