Anyone else watch Disney channel w/o their kids?

What gives? Why do I find myself always watching Hannah Montana, Sonny, Jonas Bros., Wizards,etc. without my kids?
Have I lost all of my adult mental capabilities and reverted back to pre-teen brain waves? Help me!

Though usually for me it's Phineas and Ferb.

I think one of the things I like about it is that nothing bad really happens, no tragedies are ripped from the headlines, everyone is essentially nice and good (even if they're spoiled or self centered or whatever) and it doesn't involve flow charts to figure out why the island is both moving in space and in time.

It's just really gentle and soothing... I'm not always in the mood for it, but I love the movies with happy endings, the simple plots, the sweet moments.

My DH is addicted to Phineas and Ferb. He even looks through the DVR and records and new episodes that are going to air while he is at work!!!

Absolutely! My DH thinks I'm crazy when he comes home to find me watching and the kids no longer in the room. But I agree, it is just relaxing tv with nothing that raises my blood pressure. I'm not afraid to admit it! I love all things Disney!!

I dont have kids yet but nieces and so I started watching the shows with them but I really like Wizards, Suite Life and Sonny and yes I watch them all the time when its just me here.... this includes too some of the movies.

that Jackson cracks me up! I love all of the other characters, too.

Alex and Harper can be very funny.

I love Candace.


I'll also watch the movies, whether the kids are with or not. I especially like the HSMs and Cheetah Girls.

Another vote for Phineas and Ferb!!

I know it isn't Disney, but I love Spongebob! Something about that show is very soothing to me....makes me feel relaxed and ready to curl up and take a nap.

Every morning after I get my older boys off to school I turn on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Handy Manny which ever is on and watch it till my 4yr old wakes up!! And yesterday my husband showed up at the house to get his wallet he forgot and I was sitting on the couch watching Mickey and in he walks and says "where's Reid?" I said in bed asleep and he started laughing at me he was like you know you can watch something else don't you? BUT I don't want to!!!

Disney Channel most of the time... even if the kid isn't around. Heck my youngest is 16 and I still watch Disney Channel. Even the not so good shows on Disney is still beter than most of the junk on TV now days!
