Anyone Else Watch Bridezillas?

I'm watching this, too. I haven't seen the second Anita episode yet - the left at the altar one. I'm dying to, though. Right now it's the one with Andrea and Anita.

1. If I were a bridesmaid and was told to diet and made to do push ups, sit ups and climb monkey bars, I think I would get out the chainsaw in the intros! How materialistic and shallow!

2. Anita and Christina (mom and daughter) are superdysfunctional! It seems like they've been "friends" and "roommates" more than mother and daughter and now it's all blowing up. Christina does not think of her mom as her mom at all. She is very disrespectful and mean, but I think it's partially because she's genuinely concerned about her marrying a shady guy she met once before and having all 3 living in the same home. I can't wait to see what happens after that! The intro says something about her man taking her money and leaving her, but then I see the two of them get married. How confusing and I really want to see the episode!

I also wonder if at 24 Christina is a little jealous that her mom's getting married and not her.

I'm sorry if I spoiled it for anyone who had not seen it yet. I am in Central Time so I guess I get to see it before the west coasters.

I do think Christina was jealous that her mother was getting married and not her. I also think she was worried about her gravy train being led taken away. I didn't quite get what was going on with her taking money from her mother to move, my dd was talking.. did her mother have to foot the bill for the girl to move out? Something I noticed in the beginning, when the daughter was putting her luggage in the car, it looked like Louis Vuitton (sp? LOL, I can't spell it or afford it). If she can afford that kind of luggage, why does she need mom's help? If dad lives in a mansion, why does she need mom's help?

I also think that Anita has ZERO self esteem to allow herself to be treated that way by her fiance and her daughter. I'm thinking the new husband will milk her for what he can get and then be gone. If he doesn't love her enough to show up on the wedding day, and leaves her humiliated, then he doesn't love her enough to stick around when it gets really hard.

Finally, did you see at the end where Christina was blaming EVERYTHING that had happened to her since the wedding on the wedding (i.e., flat tire).. has that chick ever heard of Karma?? This wasn't bridezillas it was daughterzillas!
