Anyone else waiting for their membership kit to arrive?

7/17- closed
7/18- recorded
7/20 received by Disney
8/2- Disney transferred account
8/8- still waiting to book 1st trip as a member

I'm right there with you. The OCC website shows that I closed on 7/24, and I called and got a membership number and login information on 8/7, but no points have transferred into my account.

Yes. I had heard lots of differing information on this. I had called MS a number of times and they had just told me that I wasn't in the system. This time she asked for my last name, then asked me to confirm my address, telephone number, and email address.

She then gave me my member number, and a confirmation number and PIN that I needed to login to the dvcmember.com site. That all worked perfectly. I can now see what properties are available, I just can't do anything about it!

IM IN! No points are loaded but im IN and I have my member #!!!

Got it over the phone in a kind of round about way. I called up MA and instead of asking for my member number I asked if they could please help me set up my online account.... The MA was really sweet and helpful. She verified my name and full mailing address, gave me an club ID # (this is totally different then your member ID #) and an activation code. Walked me thru set up. Once I was in the account my member # popped up....

No points but im IN!!!!!!

Me too! Been waiting what seems like forever to do what I just did... make my first reservation as a DVC member.

My resale closed on 7/26, I have called a few times this week and not in the system yet. All three MS reps i have talked to have been very kind though, which was a nice surprise because I was anxious about being scolded for calling too soon. I did the letter to add a password when setting up my account (asked title company to send it with closing docs), but the password thing seems to confuse them, so not sure how much that matters. They have been asking for last 4 of my social though. I guess I'll try again late tomorrow.

Our contract closed on 7/12, and the deed was finally recorded on the OCC website 7/23. I am still waiting for our membership kit

Still nothing I called yesterday and was shut down. They were very nice about it. My DH did get an e-mail yesterday from DVC regarding a vote for something. I thought that was odd since I don't recall ever giving his e-mail address. Everything has been done through mine. Well, off to stalk the post lady.

Yeah tried that and they told me to pound sand. closed on the 18th of July and Disney has had the contract since the 2nd of August. UGH!

Just got my activation code for dvcmember.com emailed to me, but I still don't have my Member ID or Club ID so I can use it. Isn't this happening in the wrong order? Gah!
