I hate the fact that I can't sleep past 7:30 on the weekends, and I don't have kids.....oh well more time to watch HGTV :surfweb:

I was actually on here at 4 a.m. because I couldn't sleep. I went back to bed for a couple of hours but am now up and dressed. I never sleep late! Today, though, I am up for a reason. I am packed and ready to catch a flight to West Palm Beach so we can cruise out of Miami tomorrow.:banana::banana: This is our annual vacation and we decided to shake things up this year and try something a little different. Of course, now we are all missing Disney but I think it's a good thing. I think absence will make the heart grow even fonder and we will return to Disney next year. In particular, I miss Epcot. Epcot is my happy place.

Yup. DH and DS's are still sleeping. Been up for awhile but was reading all the local news first! Good morning all!

Good morning to you, Patnfmly! One of the reasons I love being an early riser is that it is usually my quiet time. I love peace and quiet and everyone else is normally sleeping when I get up in the morning so I get to relax a bit before launching into the day.

Up at 8am Eastern Time! I'm a teacher and normally get up at 6. Sleeping in til 8 is a big deal for me!!

But I can't sleep in any later than 8. My body (and my cats!) just won't let me.

Good Morning!

Yep, but I didn't want to be but work likes it when I get here on time.

So alarm is rude at 530am :headache:

Can't believe the kiddos are still sleeping! Must be the coldish-grey day we are having! DH is now up and playing golf on the Playstation. My quiet has been disturbed some .... :lmao:

Good Morning to you all....DBF is still sleeping and will sleep until I wake him up around 10ish....but the cats would not let me sleep past "breakfast" time...how dare I forget breakfast...

I would love to sleep till at least 5 am! I was up at 2:15 am, after going to bed after midnight! It never fails! I am always up that early!! some days it would be great to sleep!

I'm here too... it's a rare weekend when I wake up later than 7:30! DH sets his alarm on weekends so he can go for a bike ride early in the morning -- it started going off at 7, and he's still in bed -- who can sleep through that going off, him pushing the snooze, going off 7 minutes later, snooze... So here I am! Good morning all! MerMom, have a great trip!

We rarely have to set an alarm clock anymore, with no kids in school, so I can sleep as late as I want to but my body clock usually wakes up anywhere from 6 - 7:30. Today it was 7:10. I smelled coffee so knew DH was already up so I got up and enjoyed sipping my first cup while looking at a new magazine that came in the mail yesterday.

My dogs wake me up between 5am-6am PST every morning for a potty break and breakfast. Sometimes on weekends though, if they wake me up closer to the 5am mark I will give them their potty break and breakfast and go back to sleep (not very often though).

Had a bowl of frosted mini wheats, and my coffee. Now I need to figure out where to start cleaning in this house. It is a mess - we have had a busy week!

I got up at 3:00 eastern to make the 3 hour drive to DD's house. DD and DSIL are in China to receive DGD #2, Special Needs, so DW is watching the 3 left behind. DW has been there for almost a week and I wanted to get there early so I could make breakfast for her. If I didn't make the right turn off of I-4 I would now be at WDW. :rotfl2:

I am usually up at 4:00 anyway so it was only a little early for me.

I was up at 6:50 this morning.. Regardless of what time I go to bed, I always try to get up at the same time each day - within a one hour time frame.. About the only time I might sleep later than usual is when I'm not feeling well - or for a few days around the time we change the clocks twice a year..

Most people I know who don't keep a consistent time schedule 7 days a week often suffer from headaches - or complain non-stop that the weekends just "fly by"..;)
